This proposed addition will be a major improvement to my building and community, having a more attractive building exterior facade, more functional and usable outdoor open space, and a fitness center and common area roof deck. I am very pleased that this addition would not require me or other residents in my building to be displaced and required to move out. I am excited about this project and am writing to express my support for this development. I have had the opportunity to review the proposal and believe that the site area of this building addition would be best utilized as housing as opposed to the current use as parking, which from my understanding is mostly for people working nearby and not residents at my building.
The proposed building addition at the rear of the 11 Parker Hill Avenue seems appropriate in size and scale when compared to other nearby buildings in the neighborhood. The lack of on-site vehicular parking does not concern us seeing that the area is well served with access to numerous public transit options. Converting open parking areas such as this is an additive development and is a small step in addressing the City’s need for housing.
This proposed development will continue the revitalization of Mission Hill, and I look forward to seeing another project done
